I'm building a really small boat (8"x3") and was wondering what electronics would be best. I was looking at GWS recivers and esc, and Hitec servos. Are there any other good companies or brands?

Sounds more like a display boat than r/c. :)

I ran an MHZ Gecko around 12" long x 4.5"wide. Used GWS micro servo for the rudder & a tiny speed control mounted to the top of the Speed 400 motor w/ 7 cells split 3/4.

What ESC did you use doubledog? I was planning on getting a GWS.

Could'nt tell you man. It was small & round. Actually the diameter of the motor & was soldered on the back. Neat setup.
