Mixing Spraycan colors (need creamy yellow)

Right I need a creamy yellow paint covering for my new bodyshell. My plan was to mist some bright yellow inside the bodyshell with a spray can so that it isn't too covered (i.e. spray from 1' back with only a couple of coats) then back with white. Will I get a creamy/pastel/light yellow or just a bright badly covered white/yellow mess?

Has anyone sucesfully mixed colours using spray cans (I've not got an airbrush and I only need a solid cream yellow color for this bodyshell)?

You'll get a white with little yellow dots on it.

The only way I know to do that is to do it with an airbrush, or find the right color paint in a spray can. I believe Tamiya makes some similar to that color.
