Somebody mentioned using a different glue on aluminum rims. I'm not sure, but it might've been some kind of epoxy...

Use a rubber cement. Go to the auto parts store and get a glue for weather stripping, or what have you. I had the same problem, until I tried rubber cement. 10 years later, the tires are still on there! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Contact cement, ca glue or shoo goo will work well. The key to getting any tire glued to any rim is preparation. This is my method of gluing any wheel/tire; Clean the tire beads with alcohol and a rag very well, (when tires are removed from their molds they spray silicone on them as a mold release agent) to remove any release agent.
I then remove any flashing or excess rubber that may be on the bead of the tire.
Then i use a dremel tool and an appropriate stone to lightly scuff the bead area of the rim, a rough suface will give the glue more to stick to, then clean the rim beads with some alcohol and let dry.
Now the tires are ready to be permanently and securely mounted to the rims.
When using ca type glues, remember more is NOT better, ca glue dries in the absense of air, so the less glue in the joint the better. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Try roughing up the surface you are gluing on with sand paper before you glue. It's similar to scoring cells before soldering.
