Los Angeles RC Car Shops

Hi from New Zealand! I am in Los Angeles next week on business and want to find a good RC Car shop that has a really good range of product and helpful staff. of course, good prices are also important as I plan on spending some money, maybe on a nitro car. I am staying in Santa Monica but can travel an hour (approx) to the right store.

Can someone please advise me on a good store to visit with a ph number (so I can call them when I get lost) and their address?

There are quite a few of them. I'm not on the West coast, but the few I can think of are: Ultimate Hobbies, California R/C Center, any number of Hobby People locations, etc. I'm sure there are some people here from CA that would have a better grasp of good shops in the LA area. Any ideas?
