T-Maxx Tires???

I've seen some pics at the Traxxas website of T-maxx equipt with chunky block style pin tires. Was wondering if anyone has any info on optional tires...???

i beleive new era makes a tire conversion for the maxx. i think they are the same tires as on the ofna monster pirate, they look the same anyway. go to www.nemscalecars.com (http://www.nemscalecars.com) and look for the tmaxx section of their hop ups. i hope this helps you! -DSXT http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

OFNA makes tire adapters for the T-MAXX that allow you to run any rim that uses a 17mm hex. This will allow you to run those chunky block tires, the ones from the OFNA Monster Pirate, on your T-MAXX. Look in the Sept. issue of R/CCA for a wheel and tire guid for monster trucks. The OFNA part numbers are listed for the Monster Pirate wheels, tires, and foam, but I didn't see the ones for the adapters. Here's the part number for the adapters.. OFN81175.
