Hey,
I am looking into getting a new RC car. I was look at either getting an Electric HPI RS4 Rally or a HPI Nitro Rush. I now own a Traxxas Rustler-Electric but am getting bored with it.

Any of you have any opinions?

Jeez guys, OmegaTrac is looking for a new vehicle, not hop-ups for his old one.

OmegaTrac, since you already have an electric, maybe go with the Nitro Rush! I have both nitro and electric vehicles and I'm nuts about nitro ;)

I must admit though, if I wanted a 2wd ST (that's what the Rush is right?) I would get an RC10 GT. I own AE and HPI vehicles and I believe the AE stuff to be of much higher quality. If you still want the Rush I'm sure it is a good vehicle,... I'd kinda like to drive one myself :D

good luck with your decision

One advantage to going with the HPI elec. Rally is that you already have the needed field equipment. It is a great car, but it isn't a high flying stadium truck, (although I have seen some insane triple jump rally picks).

the reason is because he's bored with his old one he wont be bored if he does it get it?

warhawk51,

No I don't get it. OmegaTrac is asking about getting a new vehicle. How do you know what he wants? If he is a close friend or relative of yours then I apologize, but otherwise, why can't we just answer the actual questions people ask?

One more thing - and this is only my opinion so please don't freak out on me: I believe that a Rustler is not worth hopping up anyway. You would be better off with a bone stock XXX-T or T3 than sinking money into an entry level vehicle like a Rustler.

OmegaTrac, if you're a racer you might want to invest in a XXX-T or a T3 or hop-up your Rustler. If you just bash then you might have a blast with a different vehicle. Will you sell the Rustler to get the new vehicle or will you keep it and have 2 RC's? Personally, I could not just have one RC car,... that's what gets boring to me

If I get the new R/C I will keep both. One as a basher and one as kinda a racer. What are some good hop-ups to get for a rustler though?

He should get a HARM 1/5th scale car and put a micro jet engine in it and turn it into a dragster. Stop giving him pansy ideas.
