B3/XXX/XX-4 wheel-tire question.

Do they use the standard hex-type hub (like on a TC) or a pin type hub?

I know the AE's use pin type drive, and I'm pretty sure that the Losi's do too.

I hope you are right. I need new wheels for my buggy and i also need new tires. Any suggestions? Its hardpack and a lil rough. I was thinkin stubbies or something along those lines with the micro pins. And it is 4wd too.

I think the B3 has the bearings in the front wheels and just a crosspin in the rear. The XXX has a crosspin with a hex in front with the bearings in the hubs and just a crosspin in the rear. I think the XX-4 just has the crosspins all around. Get some other people who acually have these cars for a definate answer.

The B3 uses a pin in the back, the fronts are bearings, and the XXX's uses a pin in the back, and a hex up front, the XX-4 uses the same wheels as the XX/XXX wheels out back, while up front, they are a hex design(not like the 2WD)
I suggest pro-line velocity wheels for the front of the XX-4, becuase it is only a hex, instead of a 12 star like Losi's solid face wheels, so they are less prone to stripping out.

As for tires, ask at the track, what the "hot" set up is for tires.
