I am starting up a RC Club at my work I need to find a good 2 or 3 channel radio and ESC. I'm trying to keep the total cost of the car and the radio under $250. We will probably be getiing the Bolink Leginds cars so that leaves about $75-$90 for the rest.
Thanks for your help!

I think that Tower Hobbies sells packages with remote, ESC and 1 servo fopr about 80$, but with the bolink cars, you need a motor and pinion :O

Yeah Tower's setup with the Spike is VERY reasonable.
Look into picking up some stock 540s from Mabuchi or Johnson, those will scoot the Legends cars fast enough.
And you can find cheap pinions anywhere.

They are ok, but you should get the guys who are gonna race, go and try a few cheap ones out at the hobbyshop, then go buy em off the net, see if they all like the "feel" right.

The typical response is "we aren't making much as it is. Can't help you with bulk pricing".
What a bunch of BS. 7 radios and no discount??? You'd think that if they "cant" budge on the price they could atleast throw in some extras! Batteries, 2 or 3 ESC's, bumper stickers.
