i could be wrong, but the last i heard, there was nothing going on over in mobile. there might be some on-road over there, but again, i'm not sure. there's nothing in pensacola either, except on-road at university mall parking lot...but that's been suspended untill after christmas. most people from the pensacola area that race off-road race at b&t rc central, about 35/40 miles to the east of pensacola over in fort walton beach, florida. 850-863-1666. the next best bet is to the west of mobile over in baton rouge, la at redstick raceway. it's an indoor off-road, electric only track. there may be others, but those are the two best tracks in the region that's central to the mobile area.

There is an off road track in Mobile that has potential. It is behind the Hobbytown USA at the corner of Schillinger and Airport. They will start racing on Saturdays starting January 9th Hope to see alot of racers.

if your interested, we'll be racing at b&t in fort walton beach on the 26th dec. racing starts at 12 noon. you get one free entry per person. it's the track owner's christmas gift back to the racers. it's outdoor off-road. classes are 10th elec. buggy, truck, gas monster truck, 1/8th buggy...and if enough show up, 10th elec. 4wd. the normal racing schedule is always the 2nd and 4th saturday's of each and every month though-out the year. racing usually starts at about 4-ish (usually later than that, but we try for 4). also, we'll be hosting the 3rd annual Battle at the Beach race in late march. (that's at the same time as spring break). we've drawn racers from as far away as texas and tenn for our race and it's getting bigger every year. try to make it if you can. 850-863-1666. :)

Thanks, might try to make it that way. I run a xxx4GP. It sounds as if they don't run 4wd much. If not it is still fun to watch others. Thanks again for your help.
