Just purchased a cheap miss bud as my first boat, and was wondering if you run an air filter on it?
Thanks

Let me be the first to applaud your decision on the Miss Bud :D Be patient they are fun. Boats don't need air cleaners as there is not a whole lot of dust floating over our ponds. All they will do is pick up water and let any air in.

WC is right, but I do have one and put it on when the water is rough. The water splashing over the bow was finding the carb intake. Putting the filter on keeps water from bogging out the engine. The water that does makes it to the filter gets sucked in as a mist and burns with the fuel with no difference in performance.

Adam, you stole my come-back line! :D
Really, this question comes up about every 3 or 4 months, you're by far not the first one to ask this.
