HPI stock shock rebuilding question

I just got 2 HPI's in trades. I was
changing the shock oils & noticed that
they don't rebound FULLY when I test
them. My TC3 & Schumacher shocks do
fully rebound. Is this normal for
stock non-threaded HPI shocks? :(

No, that's not normal. You might have overfilled the shock bodies so that the oil that the shock shaft displaces has nowhere to go.
