Team Losi now offers a set of performance brake pads for the LST monster truck racer. The new LOSB3606 Hi-Performance Brake Pad Set includes three precision-machined composite pads that replace the stock steel units. The stock LST brakes, which offer unmatched stopping power from any speed, can be too powerful for racing where more braking finesse is required. These new composite brake pads have less overall braking power and even require some warm up before they're working effectively. The benefit is these new brakes offer a very linear feel, which is ideal for closed course racing.

I hope these would offer more control. The stock brakes already offer a ridiculous amount of "unmatched stopping power".

Stock brakes actually have too much brake so these would help for all LST's I would imagine.

Will these pads last longer? I have run my stock almost to the max.

Just got mine today... Too bad i cant use them. The package has only TWO pads in it. Grrrrr

yo wrx man you still running the LST??

Its me Ron from the other forum. I am having a hell of a good time with my Revo that I got after I got rid of the LST.

Whats up Ron. Ya, i just finished the points series running my revo. I wanted to see if the LST was gonna treat me better now. No such luck though. I snapped a tranny shaft last night half way thru tank #4. Then i get it together today, all excited about the brakes, and its missing a pad... Yay!

I can assure you i'll do the same if these tranny shafts keep breaking. I think the problem is the brakes grabbing while ON the throttle. I believe the 2 different materials will help this, and give it a more linear feel.
