I was thinking bout putting a 9 or 6 turn motor into a TC3. What would I have to do to the car besides the pinion? I heard that with offroad cars you need to change the gearbox.

Nothing else besides proper gearing, bolt in and let 'er rip.

My 6 turn flies (literally)! Buy you have to rebuild it every run if you race, or every few 1-3 batteries. Change the pinion to a 22 tooth if its a TC3, or just lower the pinion about 5 teeth.

I would get panasonic 3000 batteries, they have a little longer run time than the sanyo, buuut, i would get the 2400's i race em and man are they great with loooong run time, plus the punch of nicds, you just cant beat em, but if you have all the cool gear like that, just add a modified lathe to it, adn you'll be set
