I GOT AN IDEA! HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE RC RACING ON TV?

I have an idea. I remember reading an article in RCCA Magazine about ESPN possibly putting R/C racing on TV. Well, if we all e-mail ESPN suggesting that they air R/C racing on TV, they might just do it due to popular demand. I would watch R/C racing on TV and I am sure you would to. So, e-mail ESPN and suggest it. You never know, it might just happen. If anybody is with me, reply to this post and say "I"!!!!!!!!!!

P.S.- Spread the word and get other people to do it. There will be a better chance.

There have been numerous votes and the like on espns site that have reached quite high numbers. Unfortunatly (sp?) those numbers were still too small for them to think about airing a show, maybe though maybe if all RCers from all the BBs emailed, then we would have a chance

hilarious. I don't have cable either yo, and for a little TV as I watch I won't ever get it. I can listen to all the sports I want to on the internet, and I get the scores, ESPN would be nice to have, but I really don't need all 40 other channels.

hey, why use ESPN call up TnT they will probably definately put R/C on TV. They show offroad racing on TV and since they are a smaller company (i Think) they will give R/C a shot at TV.

I think if we were to think about this long and hard we could come up with a TV station (nationwide) and a plan to get them to air it. There is alot of interest in this sport even people who dont race. So i don't even see why people wouldn't want to watch. I'm gonna think about this one and get back to you. later...

low budget, TNT is part of TBS which is part of CNN which is owned by ted turner...big company ;-) they do show wrestling like every other night it seems, and the whole point of that is a retarded waste of FOUR hours of programming. I suppose if you gave ole Ted a call and said told him about the races he would give it a shot. I mean he is doing that "war games" show and managed to get howie long to host it.

first off.. yer an idiot.. they show wrestling ONCE a week.. on mondays.. then they show Monster Jam afterwards (monster trucks still rule).. but i doubt they'd show RC.. a better option to push would be Speedvision.. a small station.. that shows a wide variety of racing (they show go-kart and lawnmower racing).. so why not e-mail them..
