GT forum just DIED!

What happened to the GT forum? I just spent about 45 minutes doing a detailed post & sent it, & it went to a black hole! I got the "thanks for posting" response but it never made it to the forum. I then tried another post & it didn't make it either. Who's the Portlander? He's the last post but the post is messed up. What's up Steve?

I just tried posting also as a test. I've noticed as the thread (cough, cough, not forum :p) has become larger, it takes a rather long time for new posts to show up. However, it is taking too long tonight and I'm inclined to agree with you Railman-- something is messed up. Since you just admitted to being the last post, I'm guessing it's you :D

As big of a proponent I've been of the GT Thread, I think it's finally time to break down and start part II.

Check out the member info & the date on the last post. I think it has something to do with Jeeps server, but I could be wrong. He's been hosting pics for people, but I just noticed on the "Off Topic" forum that he said his server went out on him & that was on a 11:52 post...about the same time as I tried to post. Maybe it's just coincidental?
Anyway, I agree with you on the GT2 forum idea. It takes too long for the posts to send & return. I wonder what it's like on 56k modems! Good to hear from you Goku. :cool:

I tried posting too, and it got lost. However, my post was around 9:00, so the thing has been goofed up for a while.

We probably should start a new threa for the GT. You can always pull the old thread back up with the search feature.

It looks weird, since his name inthe left column is "reg" ...
Kinda seems like a hack or something.
But, maybe not as I have seen threads on other boards die soon after the 2000th post.
Probably a UBB thing.

thats strange because it says he unregisterd. You have to be registerd to be able to post anything
