Which Trucks and Buggies

Hello all,
My brother and I plan to start racing off road and he is going to get a truck and i want to get a buggy. Out of the following which ones are better in the truck catagory and the buggy catagory:

Trucks: xxx-t version 2 or a Duratrax Evader Pro
Buggies: Associated b4(just a normal version), Losi xxx or a Losi
xxxbk

You should take the XXXt over Duratrax any day. For the buggy either buggy is really good. But if you are going to have a xxxt there, you might as well get another losi, because most of the parts are interchangeable. Then when working on them they are exactly the same which will make it easier for both of you to learn.

Check out AE's T4 too for a truck

My advice would be to get either 2 losi(xxxt and xxxbk) or 2 ae (B4 and T4)

Thanks for your replies. We had been trying to choose a car for ages and now we know which ones to go for. Any other opinions welcome.

What ever you get make sure the local hobby shop has a complete parts supply. It is a real bummer to have to order a part and wait a week or two.

Out of the b4 version buggies(normal,team,factory) and the xxx version buggys (xxx,xxxbk,xxxbk2) which buggies would be better the losi's or the associated's. thanks

I would say the AE vehicles simply because Im an AE fan and have always been impressed with their RC's. There both good in their own different ways so check to see what your LHS carries parts for. If it carries Losi parts, get the Losi's, and if it carries parts for AE, get the AE's.

ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS MY B4 IS INSANE. dad has a bk and i like it better for tight stuff but my b4 i like better all around.
