Hey guys. Now, I'm not a senior citizen or anything, but lately it seems like every time I go to run my trucks, I come home and am worn out from pull starting these little buggers. Yesterday, I ran 3 different trucks all with pull starts, and my neck and back hurt so badly when I got home, I had to take a Doans pill. None of them start on the first pull any more, more like the 10th or 20th pull.

Anybody else ever get exhausted from pull-starting or is it just that I really am an old guy?

Heh, my godkid is only 14 and even he has a hard time with pull starts! Dunno why they make them, they break really fast and cause lots of shoulder/back pain. I'd stick with a starter box! Super easy start ups.

Being 40 years old I know how you feel, thats why I went to non pull start Engines about 5 years ago. I can bump start engines all days and never be sore now! LOL ;)

Thanks for the replies guys. So from what you guys are saying i'm not the only one in pain!

Hey Jeepinator - When you asked "Am I missing teeth" I thought you meant am I missing teeth in my mouth! Well I'm not that old yet... But anyhow, I think that I might be missing teeth in one of my trucks. How hard is it to check and replace? I know it must be missing teeth because I only get a good compression pull every 2 or 3 pulls.

Thanks guys!
:)

Huh? Pullstart? All I have to do is turn my ESC on and that's it. No back pain at all! :D

I have had great expirience with pullstarts, if it doesnt start on the 5-6 pull, it need tuning or a rebuild, 2 pulls on my engine and it fires up, if you dont hear it kinda fire on the first or 2nd pull your glow ignitor is dead or you need tuning, if you hear it fire up but not stay running, give it some gas on the controller, so far a p/s has never done me wrong.

Hehe, I WAS talking about the teeth in your mouth. Most nitro guys are missing some or all of their teeth.

Well, I guess missing teeth puts us in good company with Professional Boxers, Pro Hockey Players, and Pro Football Players. Most of them are mising their teeth and seem to get by somehow. Oh, let's not forget a good number of US Marines too. :D
