Picked one up today and starting building the kit. I must say so far after 5 hours of building it I am quite happy with the instructions and how the kit is coming together. :D

Tower is now showing Dec as next shipment. This has been one of the problems lately when Associated introduced a new kit(sell as quick as they come in) unless you reserved one or can get them while they have one you have to wait on the next shipment by the time it works it way through the distribution chain.

I picked mine up at the LHS. It was a few bucks more then Tower after shipping but well worth it. No one is really talking about it because not many have one yet. I finished the build tonight and waiting on an ESC only because I have not decided on how much I want to spend on it yet.
I did outfit mine with an Epic outlaw 24 deg motor and JR 590z steering servo. I already had a JR XS-3 radio and receiver to drop in it.
I will be running it next week for practice and look forward to seeing how it handles at the LHS carpet track.

Hasn't been out long enough to get any feedback yet. Like any new kit it takes a little while to find the right setup and determine if the new version is indeed better than it's previous version. If the TC4 follows in the steps of Assciated's past kits it should indeed be better.

Though I believe it did just win the Stock TC class at the Cleveland Indoor Champs over the last weekend(in the hands of one of my Milwaukee buddies, Stephen Sobbotka)....

Ahh, then you should be just about ready to party, what with the Novak race coming in about a month(I only wish I could go this time, but I had lots of job trouble, & haven't been able to save any money to do it this time, but I'll be back).....

Well i got some feedback and its perrrty good lol. Its friday night and i just got back from racin my tc3 at my lhs at Jack's Hobbies Raceway here in Ocala,Fl... and my friend (im 13 , hes 15) just got a tc4 a week ago built it and hasnt even ran it till tonight, well at Jack's we usually only run electric prostock and stock unless theres some one-twelth scales or nitros, well neways if u win the stock A main then you can move up to the prostock A main if theres not a prostock B main because then the winner of that moves up but my 15 year old friend who hasnt been racin that long and has never raced his tc4 started 3rd in the stock A main and won it so he moved up to the prostock A main and started last in it since he was just moving up. He kept his stock 27 turn in his car instead of switching to a prostock 19 turn like every1 else in prostock and he still got 2nd out of 8 racers after starting last and the tc4 was hooked up. He just finished building it the day before yesterday and just drove it tonite and it was hooked up bigtime, very good handling and this was his first time driving it and 4 of the other 7 drivers had x rays (1 of them one) but sitll the tc4 got second and he wasnt far behind and the guy that won frist place is basically a pro if he had a sponsor lol and randy(15 yr. old) hasnt been racin that long but the tc4 from what i saw tonight is a verrrrrryyyyyyy good car, and nothing broke and he took a couple good smacks at the wall in qaulifying, but nothing broke all night. so from my standpoint the tc4 is a great car.

Ocala TC3 Racer:
You racing on asphalt or carpet? Do you know what setup your buddy is running with the TC4? I've got one shipping to me, but still need to buy the speed control, motor, batteries, radio, etc. for running stock class. Do you know what tires he's running? Thanks...

Well...I can't get the TC4 anymore since my parents can't find a hobby shop that has it in stock in Canada. So I asked for something better- The xray T1 Raycer :D. Justy keep my fingers crossed that I will get that. :)

I'm up in Maryland. About 45 minutes Southeast of DC. My sister is actually living near Jacksonville, FL. She graduated from FSU this past summer. I'm a newb. I had an original RC10 buggy back around 1990(still have it and it still runs). Things have changed quite a bit over those years.
When you say he's running 22's are you talking pinion? Pardon my newbness. :)

no problem ive only been in it since last christmas lol so no problem but when i say 22's i mean 22 mm tires and i think he had a 21 pinion with that trinity handout.

I'm pretty sure when you friend said he was running "22's" he was referring to the tire compound, not millimeters. For example:
http://stormerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/searchpn.pl?stype=cust&pn=TO&man=Take%20Off
Usually it's the lower the number, the "softer" the tire.
