i own an electric car but there seems to be some glitch on a particular part of the circuit that i am running. When i try to run the car it seems ok but on certain areas on the traks i suddenly loose control of the car. I have tried to change the position of my receiver and isolate any metal-to-metal contact the might cause this glitch but to no avail. I have a mercury receiver 27MHZ. Is there any thing that i can put into the receiver to eliminate that annoying problem? Capacitors perhaps....pls help me

It has been a while since I have raced but I used to have glitching problems. If you are racing alone and you have problems then I may not be able to help. If you are racing with other people, even though they are on different frequencies, they are still putting off signals and sometime signals can still over power other ones. When I had this problem I was using an AM radio. AM radios are more common because they are less expensive and unless you race with a bunch of gung ho enthusists, chances are almost everyone you race with uses AM. AM signals are designed to go long distances. FM radio signals have a problem with real long distances but they are much stronger and much more direct within distances you will find at you common sized track. After I got my FM radio I never had glitching problem again. The only draw back to FM radios, is that they are a little more costly than your average AM radio. That is just a little I have learned by experience. Like I said if you have tried everything else this could be your answer. If you already have an FM radio then I am stumped. Hope you figure it out. If you have any other questions, I will try to help if I can. Later
