I'm looking to buy a nitro boat under the $500. Fast , reliable and with upgrade options.

Be sure to get a couple of extra props and rudders though.

Got a gas boat for $450 shipped in the classifieds. Drop a radio in & go. Too easy.

Welcome,
Something That You Did Not Mention In Your Post, experience. Would Help Us Point You In The Right Direction If We Knew Something Regarding Your Experience.

But A Good Boat For A Good Price Would Most Likely Be The Mean Machine From Aeromarine. Burnz Posted The Link To Their Site. 379.00 Rtr-good Quality & 30mph Out Of The Box.

My experience, " I have a very old (8 years) V hull with a sx-135 homelite engine. I'm just trying to get back to the rc boating with a good boat" Thanks for your help. I will check out the Mean Machine

Well if you have a boat then you know the basics. Nitro is a much different animal compared to gas. If you know someone that has some experience with nitro and would help you out then that would be good.

The mean machine would be a good boat to start off with. The nitro hammer would be good too. Depends on your budget, ones 379.00 & ones 219.00.
There are modification possibilities with both.

Keep us informed.............

CFRACR has a point. Modifications, however, it would probably take the rest of the money from the savings to get the Nitro Hammer up to the speeds/durability of the Mean Machine.

Well no one knows for sure, from at least what I have heard. Was first supposed to be available in August, then September, & now late November.
I would give them a call if you are ready & want one. Or at the very least shoot them a email.
