A recent post of mine was deleted regarding the Nitro magazine. I would like to know what was wrong with the post and why you deleted it.

If you want to come on the BB and exchange information with other R/C entusiasts, that's what this place is all about. But when you start suggesting we're "stealing" your money because we started a magazine for the incredibly popular and growing Nitro segment, it has no place here. If you want to have an intelligent discussion about anything, that's fine, but you went over the line.

Steve, The new nitro mag is Great . I would like to thank you for making a mag for all of us Nitro nuts. The mag is truly great and i am glad to lay down my cash anyday for it :)

But what about everyone who subscribes to the regular mag? They are being deprived of nitro stuff. I really would have liked to see that T-MAXX review...

That's the idea - buying the nitro mag is voluntary. Your original suggestion is a little silly and unreasonable, but water under the bridge. We have done a great deal on the T-Maxx in both magazines. I understand you'd like to see a track test on the T-Maxx. We did a very comprehensive first look that included running the truck, and we've done a great many articles since. As many articles as weve done on the T-Maxx, I can't imagine there's still many questions remaining. If there is, ask it here and we'll give you what we know. Fair enough?

RC Nitro. I subscribe to it. Anyway, the price on the cover says it is US $4.95
Now, a double-double, fries and a coke costs $4.95
For the price of one greasy meal, you get a ton of info, entertainment, glossy color photos and ads from mfg's almost like a hobby catalog. That's a **** of a bargain in my book. :D

I don't even run nitro and I'm a suscriber to the Nitro mag. Its a great mag to page through and just take in information. I love it, and definetly don't think its a rip off. The only complaint I have is that its a bi-monthly mag.... NEED MORE NITRO!!!

I love the nitro mag as well. My only complaint is that occasionally you'll see a story in it that you just read in RCCA. That just kinda torques me, since I paid for 2 seperate issues and one of the write ups is identical to the other mag. I still love the magazine though, so it's not that big of a deal, it just seems short enough to me as it is, then to have one of the sections be something I already read, that makes it even shorter.

Dig - there is NOTHING in Nitro that is reprinted from RCCA. Glad you like the magazine. :D

The point is, I'd love to see more Nitro stuff. And if I had the extra $20 or so to spend on more RC stuff, I'd buy a new set of rear wheels and tires for my B3 (the center of the tread is almost a slick now!). I realize I was out of line with my stealing comment, but the big nitro-related articles should be in RCCA (i.e. T-Maxx review, RC10GT RTR review, 10 suggestions for more power, etc.), while the smaller nitro-gearhead articles should appear only in the Nitro mag (i.e. temp gauge guide, guide to alternative starting methods, etc.)

Obi112,
Steve is #2 because the default setup person is #1. So #2 is actually #1, Confused yet?

Steve in the july issue of nitro ; on the fg comp honda i see you made custom graphite plate servo horns. How did you pull this off?

It's a Du-Bro heavy-duty servo arm that I ground flat on the top, then shaped pieces of plate graphite to fit.

Steve, My apologies. I went looking through my collection and that was a touring car article that was reprinted. In the touring car magazine, the preview of the X-ray had already been printed in RCCA or vice-versa. :D
