You can get a servo saver to fit the HS-55 from Losi (pn LOSB1226) or you can swap the big gear with the "splined" section from your "55" with the equivalent part from your original servo to get that funny square spline that'll work with the factory saver. I'd do the opposite to get the more easily adjusted saver on the stock servo.

Yep, sorry to kill your plan, but you'll need a new ESC(which also means a new reciever, and a motor if you dont want to solder a new plug on) if you want to run that servo.
That's the problem, if you want to upgrade one thing, all the stock stuff's gotta go.
I'm using an HPI Micro Pro Control that was sitting around, with my micro RS4's reciever, a hitec HS55mg(Get the saver, its not worth switching gears), and a Team Orion big block.
I would say, if you are considering upgrading for Xmas or something...Go for what I have...the Team orion big block is an awesome motor on a 7.2v pack. As for the esc, what i have(HPI Micro Pro Control), or something better. Reciever, just get something standard...i use an airtronics 2ch AM reciever....pretty cheap and works just fine in a Mini-T.
