Hello I am new into the sport and looking for an inexpensive power supply. I have heard of people using computer power supplies, is this a good idea and what would I need to do this? Thanks

i use a Nuclear 7 (by Integy) power supply.... it converts 110 ac to 12 volt DC with 7 amps of current.... it ran me around 60 bucks at the hobby store.... and it is super small and reliable.... they also make them in 5 and 10 amp sizes.... (no i don't work for their company... just love their stuff... LOL)

you didn't specify exactly what type of supply you were looking for.... so if what i listed above is way off the mark, please post more specifically what you are looking for in a supply....
