Try posting in the Regional Forum and just ask for people in a certain area.

Go to your local hobby shop, and put up a flyer, with your e-mail addy or something, or, if you have a track, there would be a good place

You could start your search on the web. First stop should be the <a href="http://rcvehicles.about.com/hobbies/rcvehicles/library/trackfinder/bltf.htm">about.com trackfinder</a>.

Then, you could do some simple searches on Google.com (RC Racing your city name etc.) which might turn up some local BBS's or webpages that could lead to useful info.

The other suggestions to ask in hobby shops and post flyers are also good ones. You could also post a more direct question on this forum to try and find like-minded folks in your area.

Here's the best idea yet. Talk a friend into buying an RC, and you can race each other!
