View Full Version : Should I get a macs pipe or an engine?
I can get a macs pipe for my nitro hammer for 35 bucks. I can get a aqua jet .18 engine for 89.99. What should I do?

Tower has it for $28. The pipe is quite a bit louder than the stock one. Runs great though.

Oh, you're adding the $8 shipping in, right?
Yeah. I might leave it alone though now. I am now looking a the Aqua jet. If I can talk my parents into letting me spend my money on one. From what I've read the sound pretty sweet.

Which Mac pipe are you looking at, they make 2 of them. One is unmuffled, the other muffled. Get one from your local Hobby Shop and save yourself the shipping cost.
Yeah, they're the one to use now (or for now) in .12-.15 sized boats, I've got 3 of them.

They have a muffled one? Is this the one you have Ron? Boy I know mine isn't. Does Tower carry the muffled Mac pipe for the .15? My LHS only carries car/buggy/truck acc. with some large and small scale Miss Bud eye candy. Actually they have one each and a few park flyers. Chris

EJP- DOSEN'T HAVE A LHS. :(
TOO MANY MILES............................................. ................................. :D
WELL, ITS ALL UP TO YOU. I WOULD NOT GET THE AQUAJET THOUGH. YOU HAVE A HAMMER. IS ABOUT THE SAME. WHY NOT MOVE UP, GET SOMETHING BETTER, OR PUT A .18 IN YOUR HAMMER & A MAC PIPE.
WHY NOT GET A .12 RIGGER & PUT A .15 IN IT. YOU LIKE TO TINKER SO THAT WOULD BE A GREAT PROJECT. WOULD BE FAST TOO!!!
JUST MY NICKEL
G's you act like you've know me forever. Haha. I thought about building an outrigger but I can't find any plans. Right now I need to figure out what to do about my pull starter.

WELL ONLY KNOW WHAT I READ. :D
AS FOR A RIGGER, IF THATS A DIRECTION YOU WANT TO TAKE. THERE ARE SOME KITS AROUND 100.00 OR CHEAPER. YOU CAN GET A .12 RIGGER AND PUT A .15 IN THERE. YOU COULD EVEN GO THE ROUTE OF GETTING A ELECTRIC ONE AND MODDING FOR NITRO.
THIS MAY HELP YOU A BIT.
