I know AE will only make something to compete against other products. The amount of mini offroads exploded in the last couple months. Look at how many theyre are now compared to when the Mini-T came out. For a mini touring car the only compeition is the Xray M18 (basically already a mini tc3/4). and the HPI mirco rs4. I dont think AE will make one unless onroad mini's catch on and exploded like the offroads. Dont get me wrong, im a 100% nitro onroad guy. I just need something to bash with during the winter ;)

Never saw that Xray M18 before, I may have to invest in one, It looks like it could handle the power of the Mamba better than my Mini T and Micro street Force

for the brushless in the m18, the only thing i would be concerned about are the tiny gears inside the diffs and driveshafts/cvd's
Another vehicle that is quite durable, handles excellent, and will whip up on the Micro RS4 in stock form is the BRP SC18. I drove several of these for awhile and could put down 5 laps on the micro RS4 modded field. They also have the option for a Speed 300 conversion which may let you use your brushless.

I don't think Associated will come out with a mini TC4 either. Unfortunately off-road has once again become the "big thing" in rc cars. For months and months now you can't find an rc car magazine that doesn't have an off-road vehicle on it's cover. And articles concerning off-road dominate the pages. As an on-road racer I hardly ever buy any rc car magazines anymore; there just isn't any point in wasting my money on a magazine that is 90% off-road!
I hope this trend ends soon, but I seriously doubt it will.
So Associated has no motivation to come out with any new types of on-road vehicles. Same for Losi and X Ray. :(

the m18 is flatout the best stock micro around. micro rs4 doesnt handle well stock.
team lotus: i couldnt agree more. ive bought one in the past year or so, and just flip through it in the store to check out the one (if that) article i wanna read. only saw a couple articles in rcca this time for on road. wouldnt mind havin that spec on road...
