For those of you who have this page bookmarked and usually bypass the Car Action home page, we've got some basic information and photos of the new Kyosho TF-5R touring car (http://www.caraction.com) being displayed at the Hobby Show in Germany.

WOW! i think i would like the TF-4 more, because, firstly, i think a pretty mean tap to the boards wiht that car(which i would never do http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/tongue.gif )looks like the whole front of the car would break off, the twin graphite braces look trick, and the battery in the middle, like the Pro3, hmm, chicken or egg? the chassis shape looks unusual, shocks look of high quality, lets hope that DB will bring one back to look at http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Well, that Kyosho sure is DANG funky. I think I like it. I like unusual, unique, and generally cool designs, and I think this one qualifies. I still don't think I'd ever buy a Kyosho, though.

It could be pretty interesting. It's the first single-belt car to make it into production, and it's got vertical chassis plates instead of the conventional horizontal designs. This should make it very rigid end-to-end, but allow a little torsional flex. This should give it a little more bite without dragging its belly on the track. Time will tell.
