How long too cook engine for bearing removal.

I need to get some bearings out of a engine case, how long too I cook the engine at 250*?

Until case gets warm enough to expand to make bearing removal easy. The other method is to use a propane torch moving flame around heating the area to allow bearing to be removed. With the torch method it may take only a few seconds vs 5-10min or more in the oven.

approx ten minutes at 225-250 is adequate, If you use a torch make sure you do not have a rubber sealed front bearing, the rubber warps and melts.

I just used a heat gun on my last one. Got it to 220 on the ol trusty raytek and she slid right out.
