Hello all, my father just got a RC10T3. I want him to have as much fun as me and my friends(more, so he will stay in it)

What are some good motor choices for him? I want some choices that are better than lets say, a speedgem, 17t. Oh, and if you have the RC10T3, and use a motor that you advise, please advise on the pinion to use also, thx!! A hot motor, for more turns than straits. hard dirt track, with lots of short frequent turns.

If you want good turning and speed, I'd go with a Reedy Ti 14x2 or lower. For a smaller dollar, go for something like a speedgems 14x2 or lower or maybe a D4. Just make sure that your old man's got the right ESC for the job.

And a 17t pinion... LOL

I am pretty sure he is getting a SR or LRP pro reverse.

Which out of the 14t gem and D4 would you recommend?

I have a Orion chrome touring 12x2 in my T3. I am geared 21/85. The low end is a little weak but it is quick. My friend just got a reedy Ti 12x2 and its faster with the same gearing both top speed and acceleration. The reedy seems like a really good motor, and i have good things about the trinity P-94 too, you cant go wrong with trinity
