HPI "D" compound

I am frustrated looking for information on this compound, HPI goes in detail about all there tires and compounds except this one, and I can't find anything about it. I need some long lasting tires. Does anyone know if these tires are just HPI's long lasting play tires?

D compoud has SHORT life and poor grip, i suggest belted radials or pro compound.

I am looking for a cheap long lasting tire for carpet racing, I was looking at advans. I was also looking for a tire that is long lasting for asphalt. I don't care how they grip, but for carpet I could use good grip.
