Just wondering if anybody knows of a place that will sell and ship a XXX-T for 200 dollars or less. Besides ehobbies.com. Also those who run the truck, whats a good low cost (under $130) radio to go with it? And how much is that? Thanks

i just want to commend you first for buying the best staduim out there (some people buy t3 *shudder*.

horizonhobby.com is probably your best bet since they are the disrubuter of losi. they bought the company.

as for a radio, i personally love the new futaba ones. i got the very basic one since i dont need to make that many adjustments, however the meduim level magnum jr. is your best bet, it with the sport is the best feeling budget radio out there. they do cost a little more but its worth it. the jr. is around $80ish i think, however the futaba recievers, are very durable, and i have soaked them and they have yet to fry.

i highly suggest getting ti turnbuckles and ball studs right off the bat, they are veryeasy to break in a car with such long turn buckles, robinson racing products makes very goo and cheap ti ball studs.

those are the only out of the box hop ups i would really say that you need, however there are others, but those are the biggies.

if your track has alot of big jumps or you really **** at landing them, then you might want to get an alum rear pivot block from trinity.

wait, just remember the other big one (besides the correct tires) BB steering, your steering is sooo much better, a night and day difference. not only do you get more steering, but its much faster and smoother (and by more i mean it has a greater angle that it can turn)

Hey that is the best truck out there.....but anyway to your topic. Well i know that Stormer Hobbies sells a Team Losi XXX-T for 197.95 and the shipping is 5.95 so that is pretty close to 200.00 and as for a radio.....i run that truck and i use a Futaba 2pc and it came with the futaba speed control for 99.99 and you can order that through Tower Hobbies.

dont go with the futaba esc, go with a esc without a turn limit if you plan to race mod. but if you think you will only be racing stock, then get a rebel, you can dail out reverse for racing, however during practice i think you will find reverse to be very handy. it also has a low turn limit (but not good for racing anything less then a 14 turn) for bashing. or just playing around.
