I'm very proud of our Bulletin Board. I think we have the best group of people here that are willing to help anyone with a question without derigitory remarks about their level of experience (for the most part). I think it's time to give credit to those that have been so helpful. So, if you've been helped by someone or have recognized anyone (besides yourself...) that is very helpful to other members, give credit where credit is due!!
I will start with railman, ammoace, XXXER (sometimes :D) nairb (ditto), Gokou...
I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of you, but I've just read some threads where these guys were really going out of their way to help. Everynoe help me out and give props to those you feel are the most helpful members of the BB.

Of course, the mods, admin, hpiguy, and lots of people. I cant name the most helpful guys on here cause we all try and were all learning.

I'm honored to be recognized, especially by SteveP. Even when I've been on the lazy side lately. :)
I must recognize a few others that are great helpers as well, SirSpeedy, Grizzbob, and jeepinator (he's showing us his worth already). Face it, guys (all of ya). You ROCK!

Nairb, you know it, you and XXXER are some of the most recongnizable faces on this BB. Personally, i think that all of the members mentioned so far deserve what they are getting. Oh! And one more person... meh! :D

Hey how about a BB member of the month :) You RCCA guys pick a person or persons and under their name ad member of the month :) Or would that be to hard and time consuming? Just a thought.
Yes, all 3000+ people contributed to dare i say...the best BB on the internet. Each have their own specialties, and all are very helpful. Keep doing what your doing, everyones thankful for that. Editors, you made this board, and I dont think you really get enough credit. I mean seriously, how many people actually go online to help us as often as they do? Thanks all with my problems, and everyone elses.
Oh MAN am I a su*ck -up! Steve even sais so, lol :D

RCZone is one of the best forums out there--and one of the few where I finally traded in my lurker card. This board combines the best of two worlds--hobbies and the internet. Sure, there's the same BS you'll find everywhere else, but here, it's tolerable. And that, I'd say, is very much thanks to the Administrators (round of applause)
One thing I love is that the 'regulars' mentioned above (especially those with membership #'s in first few hundreds) continue to post thoughtful responses even though they've been at this board for a year. That's pretty cool.
Props to Jace2000, Gokou, n20, Rc1oGTMan et al for keeping the RC10GT dream alive on the vehicle forums. Gotta go run the car now...

Steve, and JWelch, thank you very much for appreciating what i do here, it does make it worth it to do this all the time when i get a simple 'Thanks'.
People that i also recognize, including those said by Steve are: SirSpeedy-he has an excellent knowledge of tuning cars, and other things. hpiguy-he does not post a whole lot anymore, but when he did, he would say the right things.

Also, should i change my name? Kinda sounds preppy. Steve, any way i can keep my post count and change my name like nairb did??

Yowza! Thanks for the recognition Steve, and congrats to everyone else, even those not mentioned (you know who you are) :D Now that I'm famous I'll have to try even harder to help out!
I've been around to quite a few of the RC forums and I honestly feel that this board is the best in terms of diversity, content, and users. A few of the others are great too, but the diversity here at the RCCA forums is what makes it tops in my book :)
Thanks to the RCCA guys for keeping this forum up and running. We wouldn't be here without them!

Iv been here since last November (i think) and i just gotta give credit to all the ppl that made this site what it is today.
Besides the every now and then BS that pops up "RCZone Rocks" and to every member that knows he/she helped someone out with a problem...give yourself a pat on the back! :D
Nairb......you rock man! But sometimes you gotta get through the harsh opinions to see your point...LOL :p j/k and too Gizzbob, whats up my Okla native (very helpful guy!)
And as for myself i like to think i help out, but i do not need credit because in return i hope when i need help i get it in return. Oh and i forgot one more person....at sometimes he may seem out of line or weird, but he is very helpful when needed and that person is Isky.
Keepin it Real

The two guys that I know are Railman and Gokou... Their knowledge is like the result of every r/c website crashing together into small boxes, and then being put into these two guys heads. It just boggles my mind how those two guys give such accurate information every time, and like really fast. Also, to all others that have helped me, thanks a lot. Loki, thanks for the recognition.

You're killing me, BadRacer! LOL! At least I can't be accused of flying under the radar. :) I enjoy your company & help, too, buddy.
SteveP, it would be awesome if you noted this BB in the mag a bit more. Even a tiny bit of recognition in it would be TOTALLY UNCALLED FOR, but it would be cool anyway. :D I'm not begging for compliments or anything, but it would be cool to see my nick in the mag. Well, I've got a pit tip going in the July issue, so I guess I can't ask for much more. Oh well... :p

Thanks Steve, & Kudos to everyone!
I think this forum has something for everyone. Many have contributed to help make the sport more enjoyable & a lot easier. I feel as though I have learned a lot just by posting answers to questions. Sometimes it's good to be forced to define things that we we already know because it forces us think things through & learn even more about a given topic. I also get a lot of satisfaction when things work out for people.
It's also good to have healthy debates on technical things, & we don't have to agree to learn from what is debated. As long as everyone remembers why we do this on here it will only get better. I don't know how much I'll be able to do this over the next year, but to all it's been fun!
Gubbs, & everyone else... keep it up! :) ;)

Wow, I got an "honerable mention" heheh
Thanks.
I frequent a TON of boards (mostly non RC). This is one of the better ones for politeness, content, and general happiness. I guess even moderated boards can be cool :p
... as you can tell, I am not a big moderation fan, but it sure seems to be working here. Thanks everyone.

I agree with Railman, I think we all can learn from helping each other, I know I've even picked up on a few things that I hadn't thought about earlier(& I've been racing for over 12 years). I can still remember how I learned some of those basic lessons of R/C(the hard way, lol), & if I can help someone avoid some of the mistakes I made then maybe that person will stay in the hobby longer & share his knowledge with other newer guys, & over time improve everyone's enjoyment of the hobby.....

Definitely have to give my .02¢ here. One thing I can always count on, as sure the sun will rise, is that if I post a technical question, Railman or Grizzbob will be posting a reply within a few hours. Thanks guys! Your help has made a tremendous impact on my hobby time and has definitely calmed the stormy R/C waters more than once for me... ;)
thanx ammoace! I would like to thank all the little leprochauns who tell me to burn things...
