hi all. it was awesome!!
on friday only 2 people ran r/c monsters....i drove my gravedigger nitro-pede and devon drove his tmaxx.
but around 12 guys showed up on saturday! there were 3 stampedes(2 electric)and my nitro,,and a few tmaxxes,,1 emaxx,,and a couple of monster blazers. o yes...also a couple of stadium trucks and 1 buggy....but this is about monster trucks....rite? LOL.
but what the hoo doo....theyre welcome anyway...
one of the tmaxxes was a .21 conversion. it flew! alot of guys jumped that steel motorcycle ramp plus jumped that huge dirt ramp for the bikes to land on at freestyle time.
i did my own thing with the side ramps leading up to the car jumps. i jumped off at an angle but wiped out....tumbling end over end....crowd loved it anyway! so i then wised up. i drove up the ramp,,onto the car hood,,and nailed throttle and jumped off the hood. when i landed the front end of digger raised up so i hit gas again to ride a powerwheelie. i had to let off so i could avoid nailing the wall.....lol.
several times i got into the chopped up dirt so i could ride several wheelies for the crowd. one time it did this little "dance" while riding a wheelie and i just about lost it! hee hee!
i think that was the hardest ive ever ran that n-pede! it sounded like a motorcycle after a hi speed pass and letting off throttle...BAP BAP BAP BAP!! at the end of the show i gave away BOTH of my gravedigger bodies. ray gave one of his away too.
it was way too cool that nite....not the temps but the fact of getting out there and showing off our trucks! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
