Bill there are still one or two that make 1/4 scale - but the rage now seems to be 1/5-scale (slightly smaller). I have driven one of these during a test, and have now bought one. I used to race the 1/4-scale cars, but was never impressed with the lack of sophistication and poor performance. These new 1/5-scale cars have really raised the bar. Having driven the older cars, maybe I'm overly impressed with the new generation, but they're pretty fast and much more nimble in my book.
FG appears to be the most popular here in the States, and they're imported by SEI Racing (http://www.sei-racing.com) in CA.
