Multiplex Profi and Novak XXTra

For those of you that are curious, they work just fine. Got my Novak XXTra in today and hooked it up. Goodbye receiver crystals. Now if Multiplex would make a spectra module for the Profi I would be set..

Does the Spectra Module fit in any transmitters other than the Lynx? I have an Airtronics CX2P, and it would be nice to have. Thanks -Mark

XXXer - same here... i keep looking at it... It is VERY tempting... but i have an awsome reciever already .. DCX ... but with my 3D,... M'kay ...no crystals... hehe..

Maybe i should wait on buying my 403, and see if they are coming out with a spectra deally. I am definately getting the XXtra, since i can get them for, ooooo, 75 bucks :)

What i cannot believe, is they are 5 channels!

That's poo poo that the spectra doesn't fit much else. My friend has a 3D (no spectra), maybe I could convince him into selling it to me somehow. Then I could get the spectra module and the XXtra, an be the coolest guy at the track (for oh, a second).

Steve...I gotta clean up your mess again?? YES, the Spectra module fits into radios other than the Lynx 3D. It works with some high-end Futaba radios, which are far more tempting than the Lynx 3D, IMHO. But NOTHING is as cool as my Multiplex...hehe :p Also, I've had my XXtra and Profi working together flawlessly for a week, now. What a beautiful thing. The only thing better would be a spectra module for my radio and a 3 month runtime... Man, I only wish... :D

I have a 403 but haven't messed with it yet. Pretty snazzy lil' radio, once you get past the Star Trek look.

I hooked both of my tc3s up with the XXtras, Super nice. Now I can finally get around to adjusting my multiplex!
