did tamiya discontinue the old style mini cooper body for its 1/10 scale mini's? or is there just so little demand that they don't make many of them, and there for hard to come by?

im also wondering what other bodies are out there that i can easily get my hands on that will fit the M03 chassis. im in dyer need of a new body. my old one missing the front end from the headlights down, and im about to loose what's left from the middle of the hood forward lol. (that bodies put in years of hard abuse)

Which one? If you mean the original Mini, with the plastic grille, then I think they probably did. I believe the racing Mini, all Lexan with bigger fenders from the M03, would still be available since the car is still out.

HPI makes a Mini body that will fit if you tweak the wheelbase, as you can do to fit most of their other bodies.

Would either of these do?
"Old style" (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGM13&P=7) Mini Cooper, fits M01, M02 and M02L chassis.
or
"New" Mini Cooper (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDDZ4&P=7) style, fits M03L chassis.

HPI Mini body fits with out any wheelbase adjusting. The Civic body will fit but you have to adjust wheelbase to 225mm.
