Hmm. So now the question is, will they really hold up to an MGT pounding around the track. I geuss I'll have to lay out some green and find out for myself.

Reminds me of Ofna hexes .. Looks good, none the less.
I haven't cracked my 40 Series Velocity Dish running the standard Pro-Line aluminum hexes.

Its about time someone realizes 14mm hexes are too small for today's trucks. I sold my Savage since I couldn't keep standard 14mm hexed rims in one piece (the hexes either stripped or ripped through). These would have been perfect.

I just got a Ofna blazer that comes with there new dish wheels and these look just like them as Skribble said. I think that would be much better on the wheels most moster trucks now are 1/8 buggy sized or bigger but they still had hexs that were not much bigger that 1/10 cars.

These wheels came around just in time. Especially with the huge engines people are putting in their trucks now.

Uhhh 23mm? The hole in the wheel looks like a 17mm hex, 23 would be huge, bordering on silly. Plus that just makes a new unique class of wheel.... I really prefer standard sizes. I totally agree that 14 is too small, but standard buggy 17mm would rock.
Ducati, They have to make them larger bacause the stock wheel nut still has to fit inside.. too bad they weren't like true buggy hex's and used a pressed-in pin! that would elininate the need for the stock wheel nuts...
never the less, there still better than the stock design... now if proline would only make larger diamater racing tires for the larger trucks like the MGT and LST.. (do they make any decent race-style oversized tires?)

Only 40 sized tires at the moment except for the XTM large series,I think they offer a pin type tire on their large series wheel but they're heavy.I have a set of the chrome Pentos with the "Racing meats" and they're 50 grams heavier each but have less sidewall to flex in turns and the truck handles very nice with no loss in top end.I've used a bowtie/velocity combo on my LST and it sure changed it's manners. Not surprising as that combo shaves about 810 grams off the truck and due to the smaller diameter gives it a low end kick like I can't believe.rumours of a Losi "racer wheel/tire" for the LST are bouncing around though so maybe something light, durable with pins in a 6 3/4 - 7" diameter might show up on their catalog soon
i have seen the xtm large series tires/wheels. but i really like the idea of having the larger hex and i wouldn't expect i would be able to run xtm over-sized tires (the racing style tire) on the proline 23mm hex wheels.. now that would be my tire choice!
these xtm tires look allot lighter than the xtm meats:

i also ran the smaller maxx-sized tires on my lst... the gear ratio was way off, at least for my liking.. took off like a rocket! it was like i was running in low-gear...

They dont use the stock hex in them. They just use the pin and wheel nut.Ive got a set on my REVO and they are bad.The sme ones fit the LST.Most of the monster trucks have the same size axle shaft and drive pin.
