DOes anyone else think that it is boring as heck that we don't have any more exotic car bodys? What do we see on the road as we drive to the track?, Hondas, Toyotas, Chryslers... What do we see on the track? Hondas, Toyotas, Chryslers... What ever happened to Lamborgini Contachs, Ferrari Testeroras, Ferrari F 40s, Porshe 911s, Lotus'. I know Bolink used to make a few of these, back in the late 80s, but they were for pan cars, very wide. Why doesn't anyone make these cars now? They are much more exciting than friggin Hondas. Wouldn't it be fun to watch a Ferrari and a Lamborgini race side by side down the track than to see a toyota and a Honda? Where is the style? I WANT THESE BODIES!!!!!!! I am sick of tear drop looking cars, they all look the same!

Those exotic car makers either wont give the r/c body companies the rights to make them or the ask way to much money for it to be profitible for the r/c body companies. Its all about money.

It would be sweet to see more cool cars like that. Im going to see if I can make an HPI Lamborgini Diablo body fit my legend, that would be sweet

MY gf wants a hummer body for my nitro rustler so she can paint it pink... don't ask, I won't tell.... I looked high and low for my Skyline body... incidentally my sweet looking paint job was ripped apart yesterday at the track when the car was not hooking up at all and hitting everything in sight. couldn't get it dialed in for anything. anyway... I don't understand what the deal is with the dodges and hondas and toyotas either. It seems to me that these cars are made to help us unleash our male testosterone bulge, and we want that cars we can't park in our driveway.. I mean hey when you think about it 38 mph X 1/10 scale = 380 miles per hour.. in a honda??? I DON"T THINK SO!! later

i guess what your trying to say is that if your car could be brought up to 1/1 scale it could go that fast. but the one problem is that yout big a battery pack only lasts for twenty minutes, o well. :D

Isn't there a rule about the types of bodies you have to use in a sanctioned race?

Nothing I am aware of, but who cares about sanctioned?

Yes, the major sanctioning bodies have a list of bodies that are allowed in their races. As far as what determines legality, I don't know, they have to recieve a sample of a new body to be considered, so if a company doesn't send one to them, it won't be approved. But I agree, there's plenty of uses for a body besides a sanctioned race(I hardly ever go to a sanctioned race)..... :)

I think ROAR/NORRCA only sanction bodies that are available as real life racers. I read on NORRCA's site that the 300M wonldn't be approved, because it was not a real life racer. AS far as my wishlist, I would like to see some more exotics, but also some 80's retro rides...Cutlass's, Monte Carlo's, Regal's, S-10's, and stuff like that. I mean I would love to be able to do to a car what I can't afford to do in real life. You know flip-flop paint, gold wheels, and stuff like that. I can spend 50 bux, instead of 5000 bux.

Hey I think this is my 100th post!!! Cool  :D  :p
