Can that fit 1/10th scale touring?

I love the dimensional appeal of the splats! I can't decide whether they look like splatters with a flame appeal or they have that "I just ran over a Smurf" look.
I'm partial to the latter of the two.

Not a big fan of the white background color but it looks good.
But one thing, that NOS sticker, it has to go :D

kitty: lol, I never looked at it that way, but your right! It's a Smurf crusher!
TRF: I don't think so, it's about a 1/2 inch short of being 200mm, and it's 19" long. I do think a custom chassis could be built for it though. I started one a wile back, maybe it's time to finish it.

NOS isn't for an all American Classic car. You NEVER SAW NOS on a car like that, nor should ya. It's just not the right thing. It's all about the engine. No NOS on an American made classic!;)

Sorry, I though it would bo cool. By the way through out the years I've known a lot of people who have ran nitrous on muscle cars. Street racing was the thing to do when I was a younger.

Having NOS stickers on any car or even saying NOS out loud sounds and looks too darn "ricer" thanks to The Fast and the Furious and 2F2F
Yeah dude, my car has Naaawwwwwssssss!!! And I swear that new muffler I put on, easily a 50 horsepower gain!

I hate them as much as you, if not more. I just don't connect NOS with ricer.

Before the Fast n Furious crowd started putting the "Noss" decals on their cars, American musclecars wore the "N.O.S." stickers proudly. And yes, they did use nitrous in their cars on the track and the street. Nitrous wasn't a recent invention for the import crowd guys. It's been around for quite a while now. My cousin ran nitrous on his 67 Charger with a 440 in the early 80's, as did his friends. And a lot of them had their N.O.S. (Nitrous Oxide Systems) stickers on the quarter glass. Back then, nitrous was known as giggle gas, squeeze, and juice, and now, it's "Noss". To each his own.
adrcacing: The NOS decal (paint) is cool, and deserves to be there!

That's right, and that's why I put it there. I guess I can't say I hate tuner cars either, it's just not my thing. I have to respect the hard work that goes into any custom car. I mean have you ever driven a car that wasn't fun? racinlosi, have you ever driven a car? A real one?

I have, learning how to drive right now. I am only 14, give me a break. Should I just go out on the street right now or what? If I could, I would. And don't be giving me that "I am too young to know" or "you don't know what it's like because you weren't around then" crap either. I just don't see, to like NOS all too well. I don't like the Ricer seen too much either, it's cool when it looks nice, but still don't seem to like it all too much.
Yeah, and that's right, bash me because I am not old enough to drive. Trust me, I can drive. Hell, I am into the whole off-road scene and go to the desert down in Sothern California as much as I can and ride down there all the time on quads and stuff like that, and yes, I do haul ass when I am down there. I get WOT quite abit of the time, and a '04 Raptor 660 goes pretty fast might I add. Might not be a steering wheel, but at least I can control somthing in a strait line, even over a LONG(a mile sometimes) woop section(this on road is really wooped out) and keep going strait.
Also, I have alot of respect for you and your painting, but honestly, why am I the one that gets bashed when I state an opinion and out of all the people that said somthing like it shouldn't be there, I get bashed like I just posted a thread saying "Nitro is better."?
Yes, you guys/gurls(said that because there are gurls in the hobby) are right, I was wrong, they did have NOS on their cars back then. But IMO I don't think it should be used unless you are in a Drag Racing event. Just having raw power out of the engine(with or without upgrades) is better than pushing a little button and having som insane power.
I think the body is great, I just didn't like the NOS part too well, that is all. Also, what does driving have to do with saying "I don't think NOS should be on there"?
So with this said, I am going to leave this alone. But next time, if you don't want an opinon, don't post a thread with a pic of the body you painted.
This is just my $.02, like or hate it(like my opinion), this is what I think, and nothing is changing it.

Well stated, racinlosi. Everyone just got up in arms when you said that NOS was never used on an American musclecar, but you came clean when the fact was pointed out otherwise, so it's cool. The facts are now straight. I agree with you that a car should run all motor and not use a power adder, but I think we may be in the minority on that one! :D
As far as the bashing you 'cause you can't drive yet: Oh yeah, you're gonna get plenty of that!!! :D I give it out to my nephew all the time until he gets his license in a couple of years. You're young, you'll heal!!! :)
Hey adrcracing, would you paint my '85 Suburban for me? :D

Yeah, I am getting pretty good at it, the only thing I have a little trouble with is the clutch and keeping the speed without going higher or lower than I want to. But I am getting use to it! :D

Well, my philosophy is "better to spin the tires than kill the motor" when it comes to clutch and throttle control!!! Of course, everything I have now has an auto tranny in it, so go figure!! Just relax behind the wheel, and you'll do fine, grasshopper!

Yeah, driving a clutch is tricky at first but once you get the hang of it, it's no problem. I drove a 5-speed every day for quite a while this past 4 day weekend and pretty much have it down. Downshifting is still a little choppy but hey its never going to be perfectly smooth! Then I get to look forward to heel-toeing and all the other performance driving tricks.
But one thing for sure is that clutching on a quad is a ton easier then when in a car :D Especially when you're in dirt. Haha, just dump it and go!
And RCMadMatt,
I think you mean "Better to spin the tires then fry the clutch" ;) Slipping the clutch = big no no, hehe. But dumping the clutch isnt exaclty so drivetrain friendly either..Especially if you have some power underneath the hood.

No, I meant it the way I wrote it. Most people will inevitably dump the clutch when they're learning how to drive a manual, killing the motor. Better to boil the hides than to kill it!! It's an image thing. If you slip the clutch, you can always tell people that the clutch is worn. If you kill it, the sudden lurch is quite humbling!

racinlosi, I could tell you where probably not old enough to drive by your post. You sound like your 14, but it's ok, cuz you are. Just so you know, I think your smarter than I was at your age.
As for the NOS, it's just fun to have that extra boot. No matter what motor you put it on. Don't get me wrong, Big cam first. NOS is one of the last things I would do to a custom car, but I would do it.

turbo for the deisel
and 4cyl? what the bleepin bleep is that!!??? :p
and nos is for sissys that dont know how to build an n/a engine (lol puts on flame suit) unless its a direct port tunnel ram nitrous setup hahhahahahha
back to he topic!
adrc i thought it wasnt possible but you painted something other than chrome and rips!!!
sweet though mabey to give the splat a little more depth next time do some darker blue around the bottom edges then a lighter at the top, but you know that. ;)

Yeah, but my spelling is like I am younger, haha. I can't spell too well.
Yeah, quads clutch is so much easier. I have that dialed in pretty well, now to get the tricks and all that in. :D
That's true, better the wheels than the clutch or engine!
Either way, the paint job looks pretty good as it is. Just a little different after seeing your paint jobs from the past, and then this, lol.

a lil ball bustin never hurt :D
as for you being a sissy that was a little ricer joke about how punk kids dont know how to make power inside the engine. all they do is bolt on a 250 shot to there valve covers and wonder why there valves froze (true story too!)
and if at the small possibility that you missinterpreted my post :D i think your bodies look great i just was crackin a joke at how many of those ebay "rips and chrome" scheme you do
oh and incaze ne one noticed i always have typed like a drunken 6 year old but damn it if it sounds right in my head it has to be

NOS is by far is the cheapest way to increase horsepower and can be safe in every regard if done correctly. I put a 30 shot of NOS on my 03 gsxr 600 and when you hit that button its like nothing else. No Turbo or supercharger can give you that feel.
I paid 300 dollars for the NX Express kit for my motorcycle. There is no way i would get an extra 30 hp out of anything else for that cheap. I have a power commander so i add extra fuel that way to keep it on the rich side of things.
Driving a 4 wheeler is not like drive a car. You dont' have to worry about stop signs, insurance, old drivers not knowing *** they are doing, careless people and women putting on makeup. I have owned dirtbikes before i would have to say its nothing like driving a car, same would go for a 4 wheeler.
Not trying to flame but everyone has their own opinion on how HP should be made. You know mine :)

they whole ricer thing sucks and here is why. my friend spent 20 grand under the hood of his honda crx and had it dynoed at 220 hp I have an 89 camaro with the 2.8 v6 with 180 hp and 300 thousand miles on it and we raced and i blew the doors off his honda . look at it like this 20 grand in an chevy 350 you would run low 9s in the 1/4 20 grand in a honda you might be able to smoke the tires at a stop light lol. i vote american muscle hands down. oh btw my car is all stock for now ii am going to shoot nos to it to blow it up after my 350 is done and if it doesnt blow up i am sending it to gm for them to tear it apart to find out why it will not blow up :D

20k in a CRX and he only got 220hp....must have been all eye candy. I've got a CRX and for about $1200 I can Honda motor swap it to 170hp before looking at the add ons. They are hard to beat because they weigh so little....just gotta solve that front wheel drive traction issue. Don't need all that crazy HP when I drive 10mph in Seattle traffic to work and back.

You should PS the Hemi or Charger onto an on-road car. Then maybe HPI would take note and actually make them for you car guys.
