Pat Patrick, who's been a good friend and a great asset to Bolink and the RC industry, passed away over the past weekend at his home in Georgia. Pat, you'll be missed. Our prayers and best wishes to his family and the extended family at Bolink.

A note from Bob Rule Of Bolink:

I received a call right after the untimely death of Pat Patrick and they wanted some information about him. I'll start with the words from an Ad BoLINK placed just 2 years after Patrick came to us in 1980.

Pat Patrick was a corporate Financial Manager for the General Tire and Rubber Company for 25 years and received an early retirement which had become so common at that time. He had degrees from University of Georgia and a Masters from Stanford Univ. in Calif. As with most people who retire at an early age, Patrick began to look for something else to do. At the same time BoLink was struggling through the early stages of "Reganomics" and needed some financial advice. Enter Pat Patrick. Pat assisted us through our lean times and thanks to him and the dedication and hard work of everyone at BoLink, things are booming.

In this two year period Pat has leaned just enough about the R/C business to be dangerous, and was eager to pitch in and help us. He is now calling customers, solving problems, working up a budget, payroll budgets, just about anything that needs to be done. "

Well, that's how it all started back in 1980 and as the saying goes "the rest is history". In the next 18 years Patrick assisted BoLINK as a Financial consultant/salesman/order taker/ect...and most importantly became my close friend. He loved the slot machines and he and his girl friend Glenna Stevens made many trips to Vegas, Biloxi,Miss. and Cherokee, North Carolina (he was probably the luckiest slot player I ever knew). He loved to fish the trout streams in the mountains, play golf, and root for his Georgia Dawgs. He passed away of a heart attach on January 22nd.

Patrick is shown here with Rick & Linda Jordan and Steve Rule wearing his beloved BoLINK Green Jacket.

Patrick will be dearly missed, not only by myself and his friends at BoLINK but the entire RC Industry who knew him. I don't think he had an enemy in the world.

"Rest in Peace Patrick"

I hope sinmcerely that he was saved. If he is I am sure he is right now praising God. If hes not, well, I hope the best for his family and I hope they get saved as a result of this.
