the unlit bulbs come on when someone posts something new after you hit refresh, but the bulbs do not go off after you have looked at the subject and hit refresh like they used too, how come ?? :confused:

I think a feature for ranking people by posts would be kinda cool. You know, if you only have a few posts, you get a picture of a Tyco. As you move up in posts, you work up to a MP-7.5 Kanai :D

I don't really like it, the board needs more of a spacer between the text and the commad buttons.

Oh yah and why can't we rate derek, or can he rate himself since he is an admin. (i take it the reason we can't rank him is because he is an admin, we need an option to rate you guys..)

i like the new version EXCEPT i used to read all the lit up light bulbs and then when i was done i would hit refresh and the lights would go out, and then when i went back to it later without closing the browser i would hit refresh and anything new would light up again. the light bulbs and topics do not seem to refresh now. kind of annoying, but i like everything else.

The "rate member" feature is suppose to be used be the members to "rate" the quality of information, or just generally if the person is a good member of the BB. I'm going to leave the feature active for now, because I think if it's used responsibly, it could be helpful to other members. If it's abused however, I will have to shut it off. I hope everyone demonstrates a little maturity here.

I love the new look of the site. It seems to run faster too.
You can still rate the Admin types. SteveP did you continplate my previous email yet? Hope you will say yes. If you need a refresher as to my question just shoot me an email and I'll be glad to ask again.

Oh btw guys, there is a new radio button on the preferences area. If you get private messaged it will email it to you (or notify you that you recieved one). So ifyou get alot of emails from it you might want to disable it. :)

I was able to restore my original registration. A software upgrade caused a glitch in m original registration, so I had to re-register. Any posts I made with the second registration will indicate #71, but all subsequent posts will show my original registration. I set up this BB, did it make sense that I was #71...?

#1 is the temporary admins user name for when you set-up the BB.
