Here are a couple photos of my Electric Mite built from plans by Allan Wright. I was lucky enough to get an advance copy of his plans.

Equip used:
GWS IPS carbon brush motor with a 4.25" prop mounted and a rubber spinner adapter, GWS R4P receiver, 2 GWS pico servos, Pixie 7P ESC and 8 X 120 mah NiMh battery.
Construction of the E-mite couldn't be made any easier with Al's design. I completed the model in just over 4 hours, start-to-finish. I finished the model with RA MicroLite covering on the wings and applied a light coat of Cub Yellow paint to the fuse and tail.
Flying the E-mite was simply fantastic after adding some up trim to correct for a nose heavy model(this will be corrected by moving the CG back). The first flight was made with a GWS ICS50 ESC which is only capable of 2A max. The motor and prop combo draws slight over 2 amps so I was unable to fly with full trottle without the motor cutting out. Even with only 1/2 throttle the Emite flew fantastic. It has no bad habits and when the motor died the glide was very gentle. Stalls were almost unnoticeable. The nose would drop a few degrees and the plane would continue on at level flight after she pick up a little speed. I was even able to do a very ugly loop after a short dive. I can't wait to see what she can do with full motor control.
This is a definite WINNER.
GREAT JOB AL.
Mike
