trxboy is right. but if you want a back yard basher get the nitro rustler or nitro sport made by traxxas. but if you want speed and a good racing truck get the rc10gt rtr.

No acctually i have a tower hobbies nitro st 15 and its a great truck it has a strong chassis good radio its acctually kinda fast its a good basher iv crashed it almost full speed into a curb and the only thing that broke was a body post and my steering link popped off which i popped back on it saved me alot of damage and the body post is fixed with some zap. if u want to get the tower truck get it, it really is a bang for your buck nitro truck.

Well stay away from the max st it falls apart and they have a problem with the gears stripping what u need to get with the tower truck is the duratrax nitro starter pack some after run oil the AAs and the fuel i reccomend towers 10% it works great for me!

The GT is a great great truck, but if you want more of a truck of bashing, the rustler come with full bearing, gt bushing, and the stock engine is better.

Guys dont forget this guys is on a buget hes not into spending 3 to 400 dollars on a st he just wants something to bash around in his backyard and i think the max st is to weak the gt is too expensive and the rustler is too fast and expensive but the tower is a perfect match for backyard bashing.

I agree with Crash, since Neo is on a budget he should look at the Tower Hobbies Nitro ST-15. For the money it can't be beat, and its a good truck to learn with and great for bashing. I've talked to a few people who have bought this truck, and the only complaint i've heard was about the tires.

Neo, go for the Nitro ST-15, you can't beat the price for a RTR and after you've got the hang of nitro, save up your money and buy a RC10GT or Losi Triple XNT. Have Fun!!! thats what this hobby is all about!! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

yea if u want to get a stampede just scrap the ez start hey mabey u can sell it for some good coin.Hey itll probabbly get u a pull starter and stay away from the red alert, get the traxxas fuel it works best for the high engine temps. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/tongue.gif

If you want a backyard bash, just to be messing around with get the Tower one. The RC10GT RTR is way out of price range. I bet that parts for the Tower version is 10 times cheaper then the Associated GT. To me if i wanted a backyard basher id got with a Nitro Pede or Rustler...those are some really nice Nitro trucks. If i was going to race a Nitro truck it would have to be the Losi Triple-XNT....cuz you goto admit AE T3 and GT's need to be updated, and Losi justs ROCKS! LOL No offence AE guys..its all good! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

You can take the Truck out of the Race, but you can't take the Race out of the Truck!
