LOL T3??? Get a Losi XXXT! The T3 is out dated and is about to be replaced. If you plan on racing get the XXXT...you don't have to push the truck as hard to stay on pace like the T3. The XXXT has 10 times better handling then the T3. Not trying to diss on you Associated guys..its all good! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Iv had a FT T3 and didn't like it much and kept looking for something more i couldn't get out of the truck so i sold it for the XXXT. For a backyard basher truck the Traxxas Rustler is awsome...it can about stand anything you throw at it.

Crash, the Bandit is your best bet, its just as fast and tough as the Rustler. You can change out the arms and make it into a Rustler, and I also think the Street Sport has the same chassis, not to sure. But all in all, the Bandit is awsome. As far as the Sledgehammer goes, that truck is outdated and parts are hard to find. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/cool.gif

It depends on what you want to do with it. Those are very different kits. If you want something to jump and beat on in your yard get a Stampede. If you want something faster that you can run offroad and also put street tires on also get a rustler, or better yet, a T3

Crash - it's a fine truck that's easy to build and fun to drive. No, it's not a race car, and there may be others out there that are better for other reasons. Have fun with it. If you outgrow it, it's not the end of the world. Throw it up on ebay, sell it, and move on to something else.

Never buy an RC kit just cause the body is cool. Buy it for what's underneath. You can put a truck body on virtually anything. Just my 2 cents.
