I was looking through the new Tower Ad and I couldn't find any thing Losi (hop-ups, cars, etc) so I checked the site and everything was discontinued (except for tires). Did horizon stop the supply to tower? Did this happen recently or was I left in the dust.
Yes, it was the Horizon Hobby deal that killed it for us with Tower Hobbies and Losi. I haven't noticed if the prices are comparable, anyone?

One more time, say it with me know....
HORIZON HOBBIES DOES NOT WANT TO SELL TO YOU DIRECTLY.
Horizon is all about supporting the local hobby shop.

LOL @ SirSpeedy My LHS that still carries Losi parts is run by a bunch of jackasses, so if I want myLosi parts I have to order them myself

You know, I'd be willing to bet that Horizon Hobby doesn't care where you buy there products, just as long as you do.

Actually I like horizon, my LHS can order me stuff from them, get me 2nd day air for free and all I pay is tax, and go to my LHS to pick it up, the best thing is I can order over the phone with a credit card, then 3 days later go and pick it up with a BIG smile on my face, and horizon sets the price so it cant be jacked up.

I've ordered things from Horizon Hobby a lot. They always get me the item(s) on time and correctly. Prices are reasonable too.

Horizon must not like us Canadians. I waited forever for parts that they kept saying weren't in stock, yet someone here pointed me to their web site and there they were!!! My friend needed some hinge pins, since it wasn't an emergency he ordered through our LHS instead of online. It took over 5 weeks for parts that were available online :/ Sooooooo...I'm not too keen on them. However, when my old XR3 gave me problems 2 months out of warranty, they repaired it and gave me a new battery holder free of charge! Since they stand behind their products, I bought a brand new XR3 and my friend and godkid both bought XR2's. I'm saving up for an R-1!

Horizon ***** , my local hobby shop dosen't even bother with Losi stuff now cause Horizon's a pain to deal with, I guess that's why Tower dosen't carry it anymore either, I don't think the hobby People store carry losi anymore either.
there is nothing wrong with horizon, i have ordered losi parts and received them in two days. you must understand that horizon is really an internet company, they serve you best by going thru the internet not the phone. the only time i have used the phone is to cancel orders which they do in minutes.
