Treaz Tires for racing?

I have seen these Treaz Tires at my LHS and RCCA Mag. Are these made for racing? I plan to race soon and need tires. I hate to glue tires. Also do you know what tire pattern would be best for a semi packed surface? :confused: Thanks for the help! :)
