How to make TC3 go 40+?

I have a tc3, and would like to make it go 40-50mph down straight away. Instead of using brushless which cost too much. What is the alternative?

With a stock motor properly geared you should get 35 maybe 40 easily. With some tweaking possibly 45. Using a 19turn may increase speed 1-3 mph, and 5-7 with a modified. No using a low turn modified won't increase speeds as is commonly thought.

try a 12X1 V2 mod by orion. They have TONS of power.
