To 2 motors yes, to one motor, maybe

These guys are talking about the same thing. you might want to check it out.

yes, rcca did it in their double dagger project; one esc to each motor (god how do i remeber these things lol).

I just read some of the other threads and one mentioned to turn only one esc on. Is that how rcca did it in their double dagger project.

you turn both on, but they had each esc run to a seperate motor, and you program them both at the same time. you also only run the bec wire from one esc to the receiver, not both.

Which wire would that be?

the red one.

You don't necessarily have to turn both on I believe. Instead of cutting one wire from one ESC, just hook them up with a Y-connector, then turn only ONE of the ESCs on, and the other will come on too due to both being connected to each other through the y-harness. Tuning both ESCs on will fry the Rx because it will double voltage to the BEC causing it to fry.

double current, not voltage.

thats why you remove the red wire from one of the esc's harnesses.

Speaking from experience and an engineering standpoint, you don't have to remove one of the positive leads from the PWM. You can just turn one or BOTH ESCs on. The SUPPLY current would double, but the DRAW current would remain constant which is all that really matters. This is especially handy if you're running other high demand electronics such as servos.

go with the guy with experience ^^^^
