Relax.

An easy out is when you drill the screw out with a small drill bit. Then its sort of a tap looking bit that you insert but its got reversed grooves. Kinda like a reversed drill bit so it will hook on the sides of the drilled screw, catch and back out.

Or, put a little heat on it with a soldering iron tip. Let it get hot & try to back it out that way. (was in this months RC Boat Modeler tips):)

Oops, I forgot not everyone has all the tools I do. Sorry 550racer, should have asked if you had one before asking if you tried one :o

Or there's my two favorite methods-
Method 1: take a dremel with a cutoff disc and cut a slot in the head of the screw. Remove with a flathead screwdriver
OR:
Method 2: if enough of the head is sticking out, grab it with vice-grips and twist it out.

The easy out it probably the best way to go. Your local hardware store and or home improvement store should have them on hand. you may need a tap t-handle (Sorry I forgot the name! If someone could fill him in on the name, that would be great.)

Is it a self-tapping screw? Or a nut and bolt? If it is the nut and bolt and the bolt stick far enough out from the nut, slot it with a dremel get a small flathead and use a wrench to unscrew the nut while you hold onto the screwdriver.

Another way is to try and shove a proper sized flathead into the hex. You really should replace the screws to aid in removal or tightening later. Don't forget the loctite.
