If you can find a T3 those are probably selling cheap due to the fact the T4 came out not too long ago. Another cheap but pretty good stadium truck or buggy would be the Evader from Duratrax (comes in two versions, the BX which is the buggy, and the ST which is the stadium truck. Then you can get either the pro series which is 260ish RTR, or the base which is about 180 RTR I think). The XXXT is a good truck also. If you want a great RTR deal, one of the XXX-T RTRs comes with a computer radio, 17? turn motor, and GM racing ESC. It's a bit of a steep price, but it's totally raceable right outta the box at club level.

the plastic xxxt or xxx would be your best choice. they are very stong and very competative. and cheap, and parts are usually easy to be found.

No matter which one you get you will be happy. I recommend the T4 but it is all personal preference and feel.
Main thing to look for is parts availability in your area. Take a trip to your LHS and see what you can get for parts. Between the XXXT and the T4, I would go with the one they stock more of.
If you are looking for race level vehicles, those two are good, but I would leans towards the T4 if cost is an issue because the Team version of the T4 is very close to the Factory Team T4 ( graphite and aluminum differences ) while the Losi XXXT versus the Losi XXX-T MF2 has significant differences that when you want to upgrade may not be financially worth it. For me when buying a new vehicle, I like to get whatever is at the front of technology and the T4 and MF2 are.

For an electric buggy I would suggest a AE B4, great to bash or race with and tons of upgrades if you choose to go down that road, RED
Trucks would be better in the bash department than buggies. Buggies by there nature are more race oriented but are quite fun! tires are also cheaper too.
Starting out, the truck would probably be the best bet. Even if you decide to bash at first then race, trucks are probably the most popular class and you will have someone to race against.
For bashing, when I had a T4, I put on some J-Dawg Imex tires to monster it up, was quite fun

anyone got a shumacher fireblade?
I haven't seen anyone running these in the US. I did read a report on the one they made for the US style market, sounded like it ran good but that was awhile ago and I think the competition at the time was the B3.
